Hello? Who still follows me here?
Hey Sugar, Hey
During the Middle Ages people believed that dragons inhabit the Alps. Loud noises could be heard, sounds of cracking and bursting. Today, we know that these sounds are caused by moving glaciers.
do we? do we now? it could be dragons, you can’t prove that.
Omigoshthisiskindalastminute but I am having a sale and giveaway! Both because I still have some surplus art books on hand before I make my next order, and because I love you guys so much.
So here’s the deal:
- Like or share this post, and/or…
- …Like my slowly-yet-steadily-being-refurbished Facebook fan page! It’s coming along.
- Feel free to share the post more than once- I’m feeling generous.
- Spread the word, if you’re the gambling sort, until the 16th
- After the 16th I will randomly draw five winners from the entrants, each of whom will get signed art books, including a personalized sketch of their choice on the inside cover!
- I’m going to try to ship the art books out by the 21st, allowing for domestic arrival by Christmas Day.
- If you do not observe Christmas, I will take my sweet time with your sketch and it will be awesome.
I never have time to do sketches for people outside of conventions, so I’m trying to change that up a bit- we’ll see if I stress myself out in the process, but it’s worth it. :)
Best of luck, everyone!
I wish I had gotten in on this before the day after the contest ended, I love her artwork, and to have her book with a personal sketch would be awesome. Le sigh, guess I’ll have to keep a tighter eye out for hopefully happening future giveaways.
This is a bridge in Paris. You hang locks on it with the name of you & your boyfriend/girlfriend/best-friend then throw the key into the river. So even though the friend/relationship may end, you can’t remove the lock. It stays there forever, as relevance to someone once a part of your life.
i’ve seen this picture a million times, i’m putting it on my bucket list to write my name & tumblr on a lock & proudly throw that key. you & me till the end baby.
I have to this when I go there…. OH MY GODDDDDD!!!!
Paris (and Florence) specifically hire people to cut the locks off once a month and get rid of them, and then drag the river of the keys so as to not have them polluted. Not so romantic now.

Hello;
you may have noticed my posts here are slowly disappearing. This is because for all intents and purposes this blog is on a hiatus. I will not be posting here for the foreseeable future, for several reasons. Thank you for following me for as long as you did, and perhaps I will see you again in the interwebs.
OK Canadians, what’s up?
